    I think CRM has gotten lost. However, CRM be found and put back on the right track when mkanetirg leaders begin to push for an “outside-in focus.” This is much more difficult to do today in our new normal marketplace. Because today, there’s so much more choice of products and complexity of market channels, that just didn’t exist in the early 1990’s. However, it still can be done by first defining the desired experience then, understanding customer behaviors, needs and expectations. Once this path is followed again, the real promise and value of CRM will come back, and be right on track!

    Never forget that that any CRM shulod be a dynamic record. If the data is not updated on a regular basis, the information contained in the record becomes less valuable. A solid CRM is not just a contact list .it’s a living, breathing entity that requires constant attention.
